Trust is such an important part of business. It is unusual and unlikely that a business will get off the ground without the entrepreneur with the idea placing his or her trust in others who see the value in what they want to achieve. That said, some ideas are like gold dust and it can be difficult to know where to take them, or who to trust when you believe that the time to act is now.
Accountants for Paddington Small Businesses
Here at Watson & Watt, we are accountants Paddington entrepreneurs and small business owners can turn to when they need to put the building blocks for their venture in place. We offer a comprehensive range of services that will ensure your bookkeeping and tax compliance needs are always in order, and we consider ourselves partners to those that have faith in our abilities to help them achieve more.
Coming from a family of small business owners, we understand just how important those early years are, and, as such, we fully appreciate the need for discretion and the necessity for mutual trust. To allay any doubts for our prospective clients, our focus is on you, what you want and what your goals and aspirations for the business are. Once we know this, our focus is one hundred per cent on helping you to achieve this, because when you do, it stands to benefit our team as well.
Nobody wants to end up in the midst of the failed business statistics after a year or two of trying to make a success of your venture. As such, no matter what your idea is, unless you have a healthy accounting system in place from the start, and control that will ensure that you maintain positive cash flow, then even the most determined of entrepreneurs are likely to fail.
The truth when it comes to accountants is that we are no longer viewed as the go-to people when the time comes to pay the tax man his dues. With the benefit of technology and cloud-based software that have made menial bookkeeping tasks vastly easier, we are able to gain a complete oversight of any business and deliver objective, factual data.
This is why business accountants are a must for Paddington small businesses. Having a strategic advisor working alongside you with up-to-date specific information can enable you to get a real sense of how changes to your processes are impacting cash flow, and it can also make it possible to reduce risk when decisions must be made.
Industries that are seasonal also stand to benefit from the presence of accountancy specialists, simply because it affords them greater planning possibilities, and rather than being reactive to the market conditions, taking a proactive approach can make a business much more profitable and stable.

If we both agree that we can work well together and deliver you the outcomes you are looking for, we will provide you with a proposal for our services which will outline the services, costs involved and our terms and conditions. Once that is accepted there are some compliance requirements we need to satisfy such as ID verification and tax agent linking on the business portal. But we will outline all that in detail once that time comes.
We only do individual tax returns for those individuals who are part of a business group (e.g the shareholders/directors) we do the accounting for, and for those with substantial investments and investment structures such as family trusts or self-managed super funds.
We work with our clients through a combination of email, phone, video and if the case requires it, face to face meetings.
